Approved!

We got our I-171H in the mail yesterday, much quicker than we expected. If you recall, this is the federal government's approval for us to adopt from abroad. Now, if you take a little looksy to the timeline on the left, you'll notice the next thing on the list is a referral. At this point, we've done all we can before we find out who our little guy is. On one hand, it feels good to be totally paper ready. On the other, we have nothing else to do but WAIT.

PAPER READY!!!!!

I remember how satisfied we were the day we became officially paper ready. It felt like we were starting this whole new phase and things became much more about a baby and less about blasted paperwork (although the referral does come with a TON of paperwork, but who would complain)!

I'm sending good vibes for some news soon!

Way to go. We are still waiting for ours. Our SW didn't send our I600a in until 3 weeks before our referral came. She said she wanted to wait because our fingerprints were going to expire from our china adoption. So hopefully we'll get it soon and hopefully you'll get your referral soon.

Yeah!!! At least you don't have that to think about. Now you can just jump everytime the phone rings instead of running to the mailbox!!! I am crossing my fingers that you hear great news soon!
