March Madness

Today starts the first round of the NCAA basketball tournament. I love this time of year. Spring is right around the corner and those buzzer beaters have everyone excited! Of course I enter too many pools but maybe this year I'll hit it big. Many of my co-workers bring in TV's for their desk and the bosses put the games on the big screens. It's so fun to hear the whole place react together to that last minute shot.
Here's a you tube video to get you in the mood from the incredible comeback by the Illini to beat Arizona in 2005:

I was at that game, and what an emotional roller coaster it was!

Have fun watching the games, and good luck in your office pool.

I MISS THAT SEASON SO MUCH!!! It still brings tears to my eyes. That game was unbelievable. I actually got sent out of the room because I was such a wreck during the game!

I am hoping we can at least make it to Super 16 this year - we shall see! I will be watching all day (I am such an addict).

Brooke, i was just getting ready to write my story when I saw yours. . . so similar!!!! i was in our spare bedroom in the fetal position on the floor yelling at blake to tell me what was happening! i couldn't watch the end because i was so stressed out! Joanna, i can't imagine what it was like to be there!!!

we were on vacation in NC during the final game and proudly wore our orange everywhere in the sea of tarheel blue! needless to say we got heckled a bit by the locals, but we loved it (and i think the locals secretly did too!)a season to remember. . . oskee wow wow!!!

We actually went to the final four - to the Louisville vs. Illini game and the Michigan St. vs. NC game. It was another good one. Plus - we were 10 rows off the court so it was possibly the most exciting experience I have ever had (sportswise that is). We didn't go to the final game and for some reason I still feel like if I had been there it would have made a difference! HA!
