For those of you that don't have a Jewish mother-in-law (or mother) to give you good tips...I'm happy to pass this one on. My MIL gave me a bunch of frozen mini-bagels for Gabe a month ago for when he's teething. He didn't need them then, but right now his teeth are hurtin'. He's not too fussy, but you can tell they are bothering him. Enter the frozen mini-bagel. Just hand him one and he instantly calms down. It's a great idea because it's easy for his little hands to hold, feels good on his teeth and he gets a little snack.
Here's some pics of Gabe and his mini-bagels:

May be worth a try for those struggling with teething now. Even if you don't have a Jewish deli nearby, a bakery may have them.

Great tip!!
You go, Gabe!
Great tip and cute pictures!
Smart!
We need a good teething tip right about now! I'm definitely going to try it - thank you for posting this one!
Now - do you have any good "sleep through the night" tips? We are struggling with that right now - I think it is actaully teething related :( Maybe your tip will be a two birds, one stone solution (fingers crossed)
My MIL said the same thing, except Ike tries to shove the entire bagel in his mouth. Gabe is super cute!
One of my clients just suggested this to me! I'm headed out to buy some this week as Noah is finally cutting two ( maybe soon four ) of his molars. OUCH!!!
Gabe even looks cool sucking on a frozen bagel! :) What a great tip though...thank you! I'll put this one in my teething file in my mind. ;)
Thanks for the idea! Joel is getting lots of teeth, so we may try that!
Hi Gabe (I mean Batman)! I like this idea. I just may try it for our next round of teething.
Oooooh, good tip. I'll file that one away. And I do have a Jewish MIL - so I'm curious to see if she suggests this one :)
WOW! I and my mom are so suprised!
He looks so grow up so much!!
He looks so happy with the bagles!!
Great idea - will remember that one for child #2 :)
