A White Sox Winner!
We took Gabe to his first White Sox game last night. He was very excited when we first got to the stadium with lots o' clapping and saying 'ooooo.' The excitement continued inside the ball park. He kept reaching towards the field and saying 'down.' Apparently, he'd rather be playing baseball than watching it. Thankfully we were in a sky box which made an evening baseball game with a toddler a lot easier. He came home with a souvenir baseball that we bought and a certificate from the Sox commemorating his first game. So far Gabe's record at The Cell is 1-0. Let's see how long he can continue his perfect record.

YAY!!! I think it might go without saying... but I LOVE THIS POST! LOVE!
We have yet to take S to a game (cause, uhm, we can't agree on which team to see and Cleveland requires getting on a plane) but now I am really regretting this decision. Good thing the season is still on...
And, of course, I love all the photos... but especially the one of Gabe sporting his jersey!

D looked at this with me and said, "mama!!!" for the photo of you with Gabe. He sure knows a mama when he spots one. :-) Either that or he thinks you and I look alike...maybe we'd get the TWINS comment if we were out and about together...for us AND the boys.
It's a special moment when a boy goes to his first game (or rather, when his parents can take him). Congrats on the Sox win....Seth's record with his Cubs has not been as glowing. ;)
What fun! Parker was at his first White Sox game a couple of weeks ago. He loved it too!! We also had the luxury of a skybox... SO much nicer to watch a game that way when you're with a toddler! Yay for the win! :)

Now THAT is a fun outing!! I laughed when I read Gabe wanted on the field - soon, buddy, soon you'll be playing. I have no doubt about that.

Looks like you guys had a blast. Love the photos. When I saw Gabe in person, I totally pictured him being a slugger some day. Seeing him decked out in Sox gear removes all doubt.
Yay for Gabe's first game! Glenn and I are sooo not sports people, so I don't think we'll be heading to any games in the near future. That being said, it looks like a fun outing. And I love seeing photos of Mama and her boy. :)
