This past week was Gabe's first day of preschool. Since he has a November birthday, it's the 2's and only 2 days a week. The first day was only an hour and the moms and dads stayed in the room. I will admit that I was a both teary and proud as we crossed the parking lot, hand in hand, Gabe wearing his new backpack bounding to the building. Gabe dove right in and played with all sorts of toys they had set out. He even played by himself for about 15 mins. When we left I asked him if he had fun he said "Yes, mommy was there." Wish us luck for his first full day tomorrow :)

What a big boy with his backpack and first-day-of-school outfit (which I love, btw). I'm glad day 1 went smoothly. I will definitely be thinking of you guys tomorrow during the real-deal. I'm more worried about you than Gabe. It's OK to cry the whole time (after you leave) cuz that's what I did!

Wow! He looks like such a proud big boy here. I love his backpack. I can relate to the proud lump in the throat feeling as they head off to school...they are growing up so fast. Hope things are continuing to go well.
