Happy Hannukah!

Friday night was the first night of Hannukah. We lit the candles and Gabe got a gift for the first night. He won't get 8 days of gifts since we celebrate Christmas too and no kid needs THAT many gifts.

Horsing around before dad comes home:

Lighting the candles with dad...
Opening his first gift of the season...

Saturday night we celebrated with family. Gabe had lots of fun playing with his cousins and eating latkes (potato pancakes).

Sitting with mom before we left...

Posing with his cousins in matching sweaters from Papa Harry...

**Big thanks to Gabe's friend C, for drawing my name in his mom's raffle for an awesome Hanbok holder. Sue has won quite a few blog raffles over the past few months. I have taken note of her luck and been harassing her slightly on her blog and others. I'm sure she's glad that's over, and I can't wait for our prize! Way to go C!**

LOVE those PJS!! (Also love that sweater!) Your comment of "no kid needs THAT many gifts" made me laugh. Can I give you some phone numbers to explain that to some people I know who aren't listening to me?!?!

I love latkes... mmmm...

Happy Holidays!

Oh - and congrats!! I'm a little green with envy. :-)

I really like the 'cousins' picture with matching sweaters from Papa Harry.

I always thought it was so cool when my friends got to celebrate both Hannukah and Christmas! Happy Holidays! :)

Great pictures! Happy Hanukah!
We received your book in the mail yesterday and enjoyed reading some of it this morning and learning more about Korea. :)

Cute cousin photo with the matching sweaters...awe! Even cuter that they are from Papa Harry.

So, Gabe...what was in that Playskool box (your first present of the season)? Was it by chance a ball-popper? The box looks a little familiar...but I can see only the corner.

Congrats on winning the Hanbok holder...I think most of us bloggy friends are pretty jealous!

Gift wrap rolls are a big hit at our place too - we like to use them as "hockey sticks".
