The 'Mandatory' Pumpkin Patch Post
What kind of blogger would be if I didn't do a pumpkin patch post? It seems that one of the reasons that people have kids is to take them to pumpkin patches and other festive places. How many pictures have you seen of cute kids surrounded by pumpkins? Last year, I had really hoped to take Gabe, but the weather was lousy all October and he had only been home 6 weeks. I actually sorta felt guilty about it. Well this year we made it! And he could actually ride some rides and say 'puh-ka.' He had a ball and so did his parents :)

i can't pick a favorite photo! i love them all. i need to get to the pumpkin patch. i think i'll take c this week. i'm not sure we're going to be able to make it there as a family :(. you'll have to tell me which one you went to. it looks like fun!
That looks like a fun punkin patch! I love Gabe in the wagon with the popcorn, and the picture of him bent over picking one up made me laugh. Glad you were able to go this year!

Ha ha - you are so funny (and right) about the obligatory pumpkin patch photo op. I'll be doing mine soon too :) These are darn cute though! Looks like Gabe had some fun picking out the perfect one. I spy kettle corn ... I ate too much of that damn stuff today. Ugh!
You're so right, it is obligatory - and I'm so glad you followed the rules! These are awesome. I love them all, but my fave has to be the one with the kettle corn (as I commented on Grace's blog, that is my fave food ever). Gabe, can I come share!?

You are SO RIGHT (and so funny)! As a parent you are REQUIRED to post about a pumpkin patch. And it would be wrong for you to deny your readers the adorable photos of Gabe's face as he enthusiastically picks out his pumpkins - He is a handsome one! Looks like such a fun day.

We've done two pumpkin outings and I have yet to blog about either. I need to stop slacking.
YAY! I'm glad you made it. We also didn't make it last year (also having just come home and having cruddy fall weather then too)...and I felt like I had failed as a mom. THIS year...is OUR year for the pumpkin patches! YAY!
I love how Gabe is using perfect ergonimic form to squat down & lift that pumpkin. Also...hey Gabe...wanna share some of that carmel/kettle corn with me? Yum! I haven't had any ALL season and my DH doesn't like it. What is WRONG with him?! Oh well, more for me!

I cannot get enough of the pumpkin patch pictures! Yours are adorable.
I love being able to take my kids to these kind of activities. Its the type of stuff I pictured doing while we were waiting to become parents and its (usually) just as fun as I imagined it would be.

Me viewing a picture of kettle corn= me devouring a bag of microwave popcorn for a very early morning snack. I clearly have no willpower. And, the microwave popcorn still leaves me longing for kettle corn...
I know it's mandatory, but I love seeing Gabe with all those pun-kins! Looks like agreat time!
