Care Package Time!!

One thing we parents of kiddos living in Korea can do while they are living so far away is send a care package over to start to show our love. You can't just send one to the agency because of custom fees, so you need to find someone to bring one for you. Luckily, a friend of mine, Jennifer, just got her travel call after a looonng wait to bring home her son and she graciously agreed to bring our first package.
Levi goes in once a month around the 12th (because his b-day is Jan 12) for a well-baby check. I'm so happy the Jee Ho's foster family will get the package in September!

The Loot:

So what's in the package we're sending?
* A cute American flag Mickey Mouse tee-shirt
* Mommy's Little Tiger sweat suit, since Levi was born in the year of the Tiger (not pictured, cuz I jammed it in in the last minute)
*A drum long sleeved shirt that Gabe has one of too
*California Baby lotion
*Goodnight Moon written in Hangul
*A little blankie,
*Teddy Bear from Grammie
* The ubiquitous soft photo album with some pics of us
*Socks and other clothes
*A beautiful tea towel and some lotion for the foster family along with a translated note

I hope this package contains items the foster family can use and I also hope they know how much we already love Levi JeeHo!

yay! i love care packages! everything looks perfect for levi and his foster family. and i can't help but think that our 2 boys might see each other in the hallways of the agency, since their birthday days are so close together. makes me happy to think that they already know each other - just a little bit :).

Great care package. Spencer still has a little stuffed dog that we had sent over to him in Korea, and every time I see it I have this weird feeling of appreciation - like the dog gave him comfort at a time when we weren't able to.

Complex emotional relationships with stuffed animals: just one of the many unexpected joys of being an adoptive parent! ;)

I love that you are able to send a care package. It must make you feel a bit of a connection to your boy who is halfway around the world. Looks like some great items you included!

How is it possible that I LOVE every single thing that you put in the package?!?! It's all just so perfect for him (and so says "I'm JoJo's boy!") Love it.

There is just something about care package posts that make me teary-eyed. So much love is jam-packed into those little packages and I'm convinced our kids and their foster family can feel it ooze out when they open it up. This one is perfect. I can't WAIT until you get a photo of Levi wearing those adorable duds. And I love Doug's comment above.
