More Care Packages

When we visited with Mi Yeon, I brought a care package that she generously offered to bring to Eastern for Levi. I originally thought she would be taking the package that he would get on his one year visit, so this is what I packed:

*Puma track suit
*Short-sleeved polo shirt
*A warm fleece set of pants and shirt
*Recordable "Goodnight Moon" read by me
*A first birthday onesie and bib
*A birthday card, translated into Korean
*Some toys: cars, phone, and camera

My very good friend, Sue, traveled in December but just after Levi's appointment. So, he had a Christmas birthday and birthday Christmas :)

Here's what he got on his appointment in January:
*2 hats
*A light winter/spring coat
*2 stuffed bears
*A picture drawn by Gabe
*Bubble bath
*Toothpaste and toothbrush
*Winter stickers
*Booties
*Sophie the teething giraffe
*Other toys

After his one year appointment, he'll go in every other month. I'm getting his March package ready now, then one for May...and that will probably be it. I don't think we'll travel by July, but I think his foster family is probably busting at the seams with all that we've sent!

So many fun things for Levi! Every package we send, I always picture Oliver's foster mom lugging it all back to their apartment...but I keep sending a package. Gives me an idea for the next one! :) Hoping you all get to travel sooner then you think!!

What great packages! I love every. single. item. But I won't lie... I swooned at the mention of "Goodnight Moon" :-)

I can just see him testing out his toys, one at a time. Oh but that first chew on a Sophie leg - you know that brought a big smile to his face.

It's so wonderful that you can send these care packages. What a great way to feel a bit of a connection to your son when you're so far away.

Awww, such great packages. Of course my favorite part is that he's getting a painting from his big brother :) Btw, did you see on AT today that ESWS has apparently changed their policy and they're now having the kids come in every month even after they turn one! Soooo, you might not be done with care packages yet, my friend :)

So many wonderful things sent for Levi...full of love from all of you. I especially love the artwork from big brother, Gabe, and the Goodnight Moon book read by you. I suspect that will be a favorite for...well...forever. What a great idea.
