Blizzard 2011 (dun, dun, dun!)
In case you didn't hear, Chicago-land had a major blizzard last night. Chicagoans aren't snow wimps, we get lots o' snow every year. But 20inches in less than 24 hours? That's one for the record books. We (and everyone else) was snowed in, so we made the most of it. We bundled up and headed to a neighbor's house. Then on the way home, all our awesome neighbors were also out shoveling, playing, sledding down their stairs, taking pics and chatting about the crazy winter wonderland all around us. We could barely drag Gabe inside, he loved it!

Yikes....is all this Alabama girl knows to say about that.
Tons 'o snow for little bit o'Seoul. YAY! We had a mega-storm like this early in the season...with lots more on top of it. Getting tough to figure out where to put it all.
Gabe sure seems to enjoy shoveling. Fun times!...for now, right?!

I'm so glad Gabe likes the snow. Good for you guys to get out! We got bundled up (which took about 30 minutes) to go outside for what lasted about 5 minutes. The wind was kicking ~ You are so right, one for the record books :)

Wow, talk about some serious winter weather! I've been watching it on the news...yikes! I do love the pic of Gabe and the snow ball that's half the size of him. Super cute!

snow my goodness!!! that's a lot of snow! we had 2 major storms like that last year and it was absolute madness...my SIL said they could feel the house shaking during the storm! at least gabe was able to have lots of fun with it!

Oh my goodness! You got SNOW!! I think we got half of that, and it was still quite an event here in southern Ontario! It's funny to see Gabe against snow drifts as big as him! What a great experience for kids!

I love all this snow... and all the fun you are having in it! It's becoming clear this winter that Spencer is really not a fan of the snow. That said, there's no sidewalks to play in like Gabe has. I think he'd have much more fun with you guys out there!
